We were delighted with the interest of the local hotel managers in Sri Lanka and on the Maldives. Both destinations face fierce competition. Hence, professional Online Reputation Management is a must. We also used the time to check out trends and good practices in the hospitality industry and were particularly impressed by the guest experience concept in the Lux * South Ari Atoll.
Summer break is over and the program for this autumn and winter is freshly updated: At the end of September, we have organised seminar days in Sri Lanka and Maldives. Thanks to our partners Thomas Cook and TUI we are looking forward to successful training events. Click here for further information and registration if you also like to join us: www.hotelreview-seminars.com. Our German seminar tour through Austria, Switzerland and Germany is also fixed and bookable here: www.hotelbewertung-seminare.com. The map above shows all destinations we were able to visit - thanks a lot to all participants!
In central Europe, winter has returned - while Cyprus has already started into the summer season. For our partner Thomas Cook we were able to conduct the training "Mastering guest feedback" with 30 highly interested hotel managers. The touristic season on the island promised to become record-breaking: Southern Cyprus is highly popular as a travel destination.
For Accor Hotels we regularly hold our seminar "Managing Hotel Reviews" accross Germany, Austria and Switzerland for years. Since beginning of 2016 the seminar is offered as part of "Académie Accor". This time we have been invited to conduct the training day at a very special location, high above Vienna, at Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom. Gorgeous! Merci beaucoup!
Already one week ago, the ITB, world's leading tourism trade fair took place in Berlin. As always we joined for an update of our seminar program and had quite a few chats about online reviews, guest feedback management, online reputation management an direct bookings with colleagues from hotels, hotel chains and destination management companies and collected fresh ideas from strolling around the fair ground and Berlin.
In December we closed 2016 with a seminar tour across Germany in Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich. Another highlight was a two day inhouse training in Rügen, one of Germany's most beautiful islands in the Baltic Sea. Today the first working week of 2017 is coming to an end and we are feeling thankful about a quite full calendar of exciting seminars that we are heading to. A big 'Thank you' to all participants and to our clients for your trust and loyalty. Have a Happy and successful 2017!
We have been invited by the Quality Management Department of Thomas Cook to Frankfurt Trade Fair for participating a workshop to enhance the program of the "Sunny Heart Academy of Excellence" for 2017. In the evening we spent a nice and fun evening celebrating together with Thomas Cook fellows, hoteliers, partners and travel agents at the Travel Connexion. Thank you for the invitation, organisation of a great workshop and a really nice evening. We are looking forward to a new Academy-season in 2017!
We are pleased to partner Thomas Cook's "Sunny Heart Academy of Excellence". This autumn we have been to Crete and Rhodes for our seminar "Mastering guest feedback: on-site and online". In total 97 Greek Hotel Partners and Thomas Cook Team Members joined us. Ευχαριστώ πολύ! to all participants for those two lively training events!
Back home in Austria from a very interesting and beautiful trip: 2 seminars, 7 overnights on 3 islands in 6 different hotels (Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa, LUX* Le Morne, The St. Regis Mauritius Resort, Eden Bleu Hotel, Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie, Six Senses Zil Pasyon) with a lot of new ideas and insights for our ORM seminars.
In June Tourismuspartners Alex and Holger were on the road in Germany and Austria: Berlin, St. Peter-Ording, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Salzburg, Vienna, Munich, Saarbruck and Bad Hersfeld just to mention the main stops. In addition to our public seminars we also held new inhouse trainings for the chamber of commerce of Saarbruck, St. Peter-Ording Tourism and Romantik Hotels Cooperation. Also the seminar topics were different this time as a combination of "Managing Hotel Reviews", "Mastering guest feedback on-site and online" and very new: "Managing Restaurant Reviews".
During our travel time for the seminars we always check new concepts and innovative hotels and restaurants. And we use Google, TripAdvisor & Co. to find them - which really works!
This time we can recommend...
The Beachmotel in St. Peter-Ording because of its light Key West style and the location on the North Sea, the 25hours Hotel Bikini in Berlin with the coolest rooftop bar and views over the zoo, the first German Premier Inn in Frankfurt offering a "Good Night Guarantee", the freshest Novotel at Arnulfpark in Munich with its Gourmet-Bar concept, the Restaurant "The Green Garden" in Salzburg (really nice, really green and delicious!).
